Dr. King -Foster offers training for hotel staff

A member of our community for more than 20 years, Dr. King-Foster works with hoteliers and other employers to bring health education to men and women that make up the Caribbean workforce. In August, Dr. King-Foster trained management and staff at the CoCoLaPalm Hotel in Negril on how to be prepared and remain safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Dr. King-Foster conducted the training across 4 Modules that 1. focused on Managing Cases that might occur in an employee or a guest of the hotel. 2. She taught management about the responsibility each person has in keeping everyone healthy and safe. 3. She then reviewed department by department, from the front desk to the dining room, to the kitchen, to the pool area, the right actions every employee should take to keep the hotel safe and virus-free. And finally, her reviews in the fourth module briefed people on the rules we are following in accordance with the country ministry, the US’ Centers for Disease Control, and the World Health Organization.
